BriDJing is back with a second residency in Paris

Concerts, conferences and workshops: a look back at an intensive week in Paris.

From December 1 to 10, the second cohort of artists and our teams from Tunisia, France and Albania gathered in Paris for BriDJing’s second residency.

On the agenda: training workshops with our incredible mentors Sharouh (wemakenoise) , Ara (connect’her) and Daphné Honigman (women beats) , a day of networking , activities to discover Paris and, above all, wild parties! On December 1st, we had the pleasure of listening to Madame Ghorbelle‘s DJ set during the Nuit Pop at the Maison Pop de Montreuil, where Benessa from the first cohort brilliantly led a waacking workshop. Then, on December 02nd, we danced to the eclectic rhythms of DJ Pompompom, Doracell and edna at the hasard ludique. On December 07th, Laure from the first cohort joined us alongside Queen V , Digé Momo, Funkykid and Nordust on the Chinois stage in Montreuil. Finally, on December 08th, as part of the Africolor festival, Madame ghorbelle gave us an incredible performance at Le Plan.

To sum up, this week was rich in sharing around the different musical and cultural identities that coexisted during this residency. It was also a particularly convivial moment, consolidating BriDJing’s desire to bring artists together around their art and shared values, while turning their diverse identities into a real strength.

We’d like to thank all the artists, the teams of Africolor, La Fabrique Arts Studio, Tulla Center and all our partners who helped make this a unique and convivial experience of sharing and enrichment.

Stay tuned to follow the rest of our adventures!
